Research Focus

How data science, forecasting, and strategy come together in my teaching and consulting.

An overhead shot of a light birch dining table repurposed as a late-night workspace, illuminated by a single warm pendant lamp that creates a focused pool of light. On the table, a slim laptop shows a clean time-series forecast chart, while a spiral-bound notebook is filled with handwritten scenario notes and simple decision trees. To one side, a neatly arranged set of baby bottles and a small digital baby monitor with its screen softly glowing suggest family responsibilities nearby. The surrounding room falls into gentle shadow, emphasizing the illuminated work area. The composition is centered and balanced, with photographic realism and a contemplative, dedicated mood that highlights the intersection of data science, business decisions, and parenthood.
A meticulously arranged whiteboard wall in a contemporary office, covered with colorful but orderly forecast plots, probability distributions, and decision trees drawn in fine-tipped markers. Magnetic data printouts and neatly aligned sticky notes in muted tones frame the central chart showing a clear upward trend. Overhead LED panel lights cast even, soft illumination, eliminating harsh shadows and highlighting the glossy whiteboard surface. The scene is captured at eye level with a wide lens, emphasizing the breadth of information while maintaining legible detail in the center. The atmosphere is analytical and strategic, suggesting a space where data is translated into business decisions. Photographic realism with a clean, modern style and balanced composition using the rule of thirds.

From Data to Strategic Decisions

I work at the intersection of forecasting, predictive analytics, and business strategy, helping organisations turn noisy data into clear, defensible decisions, with a special focus on Asian markets, demand planning, and practical tools managers actually use.

Read more.
